Installation

Theme Deploy is installed as a Shopify app. Installation takes about a minute and starts a 14-day free trial — no payment details required.

Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Open the Theme Deploy listing in the Shopify App Store and click Install.
2. Shopify shows the permissions screen. Theme Deploy requests two scopes:
   • read_themes — to find your live theme and read its settings.
   • write_themes — to create preview themes and deploy files.
3. Click Install app to approve. You are redirected back to the Theme Deploy dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

Theme Deploy never requests access to orders, customers, or products — only themes.

Logging in directly

If you are not inside the Shopify admin, you can log in from the Theme Deploy website: enter your store domain (your-store.myshopify.com) and you'll be taken through the same Shopify authorization flow.

Session length

Dashboard sessions last one hour. If your session expires, reload the app from your Shopify admin (or log in again) to get a fresh session.

After installation

Your trial subscription starts immediately. The dashboard will be empty until you connect a GitHub repository — that's the next step.
